Why do some AUT codes send you to a private server instead of giving rewards?
AUT uses two kinds of codes: reward codes that hand out skin crates and the occasional bit of in-game cash, and private server codes that drop you into a quieter, less crowded version of the game. For the private ones, you pick the private server option on the way in, paste the code, and hit join rather than entering through the main game.
What do the skin rewards like Estival Platinum, Vacation Queen, and Solarized actually do?
They’re cosmetic skins from the crates, so they change how your character looks rather than boosting your stats. Keep in mind some free skin rewards expect you to have at least one skill maxed out at level 100 before you can claim them.
